Pollyanna knits some more

Lyda here. Just a little knitting report, you know, “Knitting Bulletins As They Occur.”

I actually worked on the Twisted Sister Scarf again last night. I finished the first skein and tied on the second. I’m already wondering: How does one weave in the ends of the Evil Twisty Ribbon Yarn? Because the scarf is very loosely knit. So I’ll have to be sneaky…

Good. I like sneaky.

I’m really wanting to be done with this scarf. REALLY. And apparently, I’m not being at all secretive about my less-than-love-affair with this ribbon yarn.

The Resident Sith Master looked at me knitting last night and said, “Isn’t that the yarn you hate?”

Why, yes. Yes, it is.

  1. KarenM.

With ribbon yarn your best bet is to weave it in until the end (or as long as you need to feel comfortable) then make some teeny little stitches to hold it flat against another piece of ribbon…wish I could find pictures as I feel like this is a VERY fuzzy description……

Thanks, KarenM. I don’t want it to unravel if it gets some rough wear, since this is for a young girl. And especially since I’ve struggled with this ribbon yarn so much, it had BETTER stay knit!
