Lyda here. Yes, I might actually date a zombie at this point. It couldn’t be worse than some dates I’ve been on. Wait. I already have dated zombies. Anna-Liza can vouch for that.
I joined the Zombie Prom Date Knitters group on Ravelry.
“Zombie Prom Date Knitters?” you ask. Holly Bee, the founder of ZPDK, explains the origins. Her blog is “knit with snot for you” which is a funny and strangely disturbing name, isn’t it? What a fun time suck. They also have “What would a pirate do?” for ye swabs. And a skull-and-crossbones toast stamper. Arr, matey, pass me the marrrmalade. Hey, could be weirder. Could be the Virgin Mary on your toast.
But I digress… randomly… again…
Back to the Zombie Prom Date Knitters!
I so very much want a ZPKD t-shirt.
I asked permission from the creator of ZPDK to start a local chapter. And she said yes!
I am now Fearless Leader of the Orange County CA Chapter of the Zombie Prom Date Knitters!!! Our assigned team colors are orange and green. Perfect – orange for the OC, green for zombies!
Proposed ZPDK Chapter Expenses:
