Hey, Anna-Liza here.
A long time ago (2007), in a galaxy far, far away (Los Angeles), I met a man named Frank. We met at a session of the West Hollywood Stitch ‘n’ Bitch, to which I’d been invited by Laurie Perry. He is a funny, smart, and kind man and, since that time, has become a father.
Here’s me with Laurie and Frank:
Frank and I have kept in semi-touch – read each other’s blogs, friends on Facebook. Recently, Frank earned his cosmetologist’s license and is in the throes of creating his own business. He asked for ideas for a name. I suggested “Salon Vert” (after reading what his requirements and preferences were), he liked it and has already got a fan page set up on Facebook for it!
And then he very kindly sent me these:
I got the package in the mail today, stared at it a bit because I haven’t ordered anything recently, then finally looked at the return address and knew what it was.
I’m not much of a girly-girl, but I do have my girly moments, and this was definitely one of those.
Thanks so much, Frank! Blessings of happiness and prosperity on you, your loved ones, and Salon Vert!
And hey, isn’t the internet cool?
